These businesses and institutions have implemented successful wasted food diversion programs. From food rescue to composting, these stories speak for themselves.

School: Wilton School District

In 2016, a class project at Middlebrook Middle School inspired their cafeteria’s food waste diversion program and transformed the Wilton School District.

Restaurant: Gardner Ale House

The Gardner Ale House diverts wasted food for pig feed. The restaurant’s owner, Rick Walton, worked with the Center for EcoTechnology to find a way to easily and cost-effectively divert his wasted food.
